Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival invites entries for ‘ Dimensions Mumbai ’, a short film competition for filmmakers across India
Dimensions Mumbai,.a short film competition based on the theme of Mumbai City, returns and now open for submissions.
The category, reportedly, was introduced by actress-turned politician in 2009 as an ode to Mumbai. The competition is applicable for young filmmakers within the age group of 18–25 years across India; who need to do film Mumbai-based themes in Mumbai.
Bhumi Pednekar, one of the most renowned actress in Indian cinema and acknowledged for her multifarious choices of films, is the Brand Ambassador for Dimensions Mumbai this year.
She is an hard-core Mumbai girl herself, and jn her role, will engage and support the young creative collective of aspiring filmmakers at Dimensions Mumbai.
Bhumi, while commenting on this, asserted that she is thrilled to be part of Dimensions Mumbai this year. For the young filmmakers, It’s an incredible platform as it empowers them to narrate personal stories that mean something to them. It provides them with an opportunity to display their film to a larger audience on a big screen.
