Priyanka Mohan gears up to share screen space with
Thalapathy Vijay in Venkat Prabhu’s next venture.

Earlier there was an announcement that Thalapathy Vijay’s next film would be with Venkat Prabhu, known for directing Mankatha and Maanadu.

Vijay as of now is wrapping up the post-production works for his Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial
“Leo”. The makers plan to host its audio launch towards the end of September for its official theatrical release on the October 19.

In the midst of “Leo” creating a hype the Pooja for Thalapathy 68 takea place on October 1 with shoot from 2 October.

As per reports reported Vijay portrays a dual role in the film. In fact, Venkat Prabhu and Vijay had traveled to Los Angeles, to have a run at the de-aging technology. However, there is no official word regarding the same by the makers of Thalapathy 68.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Simran would be Vijay’s heroine for the film. The news sent fans into a frenzy, as they will get to see the popular on-screen couple o again after 19 years.

In 2004 they acted together in a film Udhaya, directed by Azhagam Perumal. Prashanth and Prabhu Deva were set to play pivotal roles in the film. However, there is no official confirmation to the same as yet.

Priyanka Mohan is cast alongside Simran as the lead, where Simran would be cast opposite an older Vijay, and Priyanka would be cast opposite a younger one.

The film is expected to be a classic Venkat Prabhu film, that is set to portray Vijay in a completely new light. Major portions of the film will be shot in Chennai, while there will be song sequences that will be shot in foreign locations.
