The Maharashtra Security Agencies has provided Y+ security power to Shah Rukh Khan after a row over Besharam Rang song from his film Pathaan, which was released early this year,

It is learnt that Paramhans Acharya, an Ayodhya-based seer, had allegedly issued death threats to the actor.

However, Mumbai Police refused to divulge the nature of the “threat” faced by the actor.

According to sources, the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID), in an official communication dated October 5, alerted all the police commissionerates, district police and special protection units (SPUs) in the state to provide “Y+ with an escort scale of security to Khan with immediate effect”.
