Every year Kerala Bhawan in Navi Mumbai’s Vashi run by the Kerala government, celebrates Onam with ‘Onam Sadhya’ . This is the
much-preferred for most of the people of Navi Mumbai. It’s not only Keralites who visit the place for Onam Sadhya, but even north indians to relish the Sadhya.
The place believes in ‘First-Come-First-Serve Policy’. As per reports nearly 500 people flock the Bhawan for the Sadhya.
There are many Kerala Hotels in other parts of Mumbai besides Navi Mumbai which celebrates Onam with Onam Sadhya. Earlier it was the Mani’s Lunch Home’ in Matunga which used to celebrate onam in a big way. Now they are relocated to Chembur after the building in Matunga went for re-development.
