Anupam Kher shares his first experience working with Dilip Kumar in Karma

Anupam Kher reminisced about his first experience working with Dilip Kumar in the 1986 film Karma, describing how he was completely starstruck on set.

Anupam Kher one among the many actors in the entertainment industry was a devoted fan of Hindi Cinema’s thespian Dilip Kumar.

In a recent interview, he reminisced his experience of sharing screen space with the Mughal-E-Azam star for the first time in the 1986 film Karma.

Anupam, who essayed the role of an antagonist n the film, reminisced being so overwhelmed upon seeing Dilip Kumar on set that he couldn’t help but stare. His admiration was so evident that director Subhash Ghai had to remind him to act like a villain, not like someone infatuated with Dilip Kumar.

Speaking with a news channel, Anupam shared the depth of his admiration by recalling a story from his younger days, when he once broke his nose in a bid to get a ticket to see Dilip Kumar’s film Gopi in theaters. He went on to explain that when the ticket window opened, people would go berserk trying to get in.

While trying to get a ticket for Gopi, someone pushed him and someone else’s foot hit his nose. So, he watched the movie with a bloody nose, but still loved every moment of seeing it on the big screen.
