Vicky Kaushal is all set for a good lineup of projects in the coming year. The actor has Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava which releases in the first quarter of 2025. After the release of Chhaava, Vicky will prep for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. Additionally, he has Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar in the pipeline.

In a recent development, Vicky Kaushal reunites with director Rajkumar Hirani after their 2023 film Dunki.

As per reports Vicky Kaushal has been in talks with Rajkumar Hirani for the last few months for his next directorial venture. Reportedly he had signed on for Hirani’s upcoming project, currently in the scripting stage. The film will go on floors in 2026, once Vicky completes shooting for Amar Kaushik’s Mahavatar. A source revealed that Hirani will extensively work on the script before commencing production.

Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming projects have generated significant buzz in the film industry. Besides his collaborations with Laxman Utekar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Rajkumar Hirani, Vicky is reportedly in talks with two more producers for multiple projects. The actor’s last theatrical releases were Dunki and Sam Bahadur in 2024. Vicky Kaushal’s fans eagerly await for his upcoming films, which ensures to showcase his versatility as an actor.

Maddock Films recently announced Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming project, Amar Kaushik directorial Mahavatar, The actor will feature as Chiranjeevi Parashurama in the film, produced by Dinesh Vijan.

A motion poster for Mahavatar was shared on Instagram, revealing that the movie will hit theaters on Christmas 2026.
