Operation 1
Cr. No. 11/2021 On the basis of specific information, Narcotics Control Bureau Mumbai and Sub Zone Goa seized small quantity of Hashish/Charas from the house of Demetriades Agisilaos (South African National) i.e. WF-1, Span Suites & Villas, Chopdem, Pernem, North Goa on 24.09.2021. Subsequently, Demetriades Agisilaos arrested for illicit possession of the recovered drug on 25.09.2021 vide NCB Goa Cr. No 11/2021. On 25.09.2021, the accused sent to judicial custody as ordered by the Court. Further update will follow.
Pertinent to mention here that accused Demetriades Agisilaos had earlier been arrested in two more cases of NCB, Mumbai i.e. Crime No. 16/2020 & Crime No. 24/2020 for the offences under the NDPS Act, 1985.
Operation 2
On the basis of specific information, Narcotics Control Bureau, Sub Zone Goa seized 12 LSD Blots (Commercial Quantity) and small quantity of MDMA/Ecstasy pills near Om Lawn, Siolim, North Goa, Goa on 22.09.2021 and arrested Noumaan Savery, aged about 22 years, S/o Late Firoz Savery, R/o Jayanti Nagar, Sigolbhata, Durg, Chhattisgarh for illicit possession of the same. During followup investigation another accused Siddiq Ahmed aged 25 yrs S/o Lt. Shabbir Ahmed R/o H. No. 3-13-3, Rajeev Gandhi Nagar, Hyderabad was also arrested on 23.09.2021 being part of criminal conspiracy. A case NCB Cr. No 11/2021 has been registered against said Noumaan Savery & Siddiq Ahmed at NCB, Goa Sub Zone and both the accused undergoing judicial custody. During investigation, it revealed that both arrested persons were working for one Kunal Shinde who reportedly running Polo Bar & Restaurant in Anjuna, Goa
OPS 3: Cr. No. 10/2021 On the basis of specific information, Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai and Sub Zone Goa seized intermediate quantity of MDMA/Ecstasy pills near Nagoa Chowk, Nagoa, North Goa, Goa on 24.09.2021 and arrested one Mayur Mohnani @ Amit aged about 22 years, S/o Late Kishor Mohnani, R/o Room number 5, Gali No. 6, Ulhasnagar, Distt. Thane, Mumbai for illicit possession of the same. A case NCB Cr. No 10/2021 has been registered against said Mayur Mohnani @ Amit at NCB, Goa Sub Zone and the accused undergoing judicial custody.
