“The Roshans” which focuses on the legacy of the Roshan family and their incredible contributions to Indian cinema.

Recently, Simi Garewal took to her Instagram and shared her appreciation for the series.
Posting the documentary’s poster, Simi wrote, she watched The Roshans series not once but twice. She has known Rakesh Roshan and Pinki Roshan for five decades and they are her closest friends. Yet, this series gave her new insights. Rakesh’s struggles, an assassination attempt, cancer, the quiet courage to overcome all and emerge as a WINNER! It”s an absolute sheer grit & undeniable talent! He’s a role model. She is much proud of him & ” The Roshans at large.
The final episode of the series features archive footage from an awards function where Hrithik addressed the attack, saying, that in the past few weeks, his family has been through a lot. His father, who has always believed in doing good work, was recently attacked by unknown assailants. He was losing faith in people, in goodness, in the world. Nothing made sense. Hrithik just wanted to quit before things had even begun for him. But he is here today to say that no matter how much people try to put the Roshans down, they will rise. The Roshans believe in one thought
and that is ‘the show must go on”.
The series also revisits Hrithik Roshan’s near-fatal accident on the sets of ‘Krrish 3’, with Rakesh Roshan recalling, “At one point, Hrithik had to climb a tall building in the city center. He was practicing with a harness when he suddenly slipped right before our eyes.”
