US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard arrives on two-and-half-day visit to India
US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard on Tuesday asserted that PM Modi was committed to peace just like President Donald Trump.
Gabbard, who is on a two-and-half-day trip to India. Amidst addressing the Raisina Dialogue 2025 event in New Delhi, she said,that “Just like President Trump, PM Modi is committed to peace.”
She also went on to explain that President Donald Trump’s “America first” pith should not be mistaken for isolation.
Adding that it shouldn’t be mistaken that their President is calling for America First as an isolationist. That accusation speaks to a deeper misunderstanding or wrong assumption that the only way to engage with other countries is through conflict. He wants a legacy of being a peacemaker and a unifier.”l
The National Intelligence chief alo said, that their goal is to provide the best timely intelligence reporting to our leadership. When PM Modi was in Washington, President Trump said there was a great opportunity for the evolving cyber security means and for artificial intelligence to strengthen our security interests.”
She further added that for President Trump, PM Modi’s early visit to Washington was a personal friendship and indicative of their priorities and setting action and serving the best interests of their countries.
