Indian television actress Renuka Shahane starred in the television series Circus, directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah, alongside Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. However, the actress has recently revealed how dedicated he was towards his work.
In a recent interview the actress opened up that she was scared to get up on a trapeze, but Shah Rukh Khan helped her. She revealed that SRK told her that an actor needs to do whatever the director demands.
She further admitted, that at that time around the character Maria,had height fright, and she herself also have height fright. So she was really scared doing those scenes. You know of trying to get up trapeze and we were all the same age group at that time. Shah Rukh wasn’t a film star. He was already a Television star.”
She recalled Shah Rukh Khan’s advice and said, she was really psyched because had to shoot with Kundan basically. So was very scared and Shah Rukh just came up to her and said, ‘Listen if you are an actor, if the director says this is a well and you will jump.
She was all praise.for his professionalism, noting that he efficiently managed shoots with two different teams and directors, working long hours without issue. She said, she has watched him work for 36 hours straight.
