In a media interaction, she spoke on her cameo and reuniting with Smriti Irani.
Notably, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 brought back a wave of nostalgia on July 29 at 10:30 pm. Ektaa Kapoor’s iconic show returned with a new season, featuring its OG actors Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay. One particular scene, highlighting Tulsi’s conversation with Savita’s spirit, left the viewers surprised.
Apara Mehta shared that she shot on the second or the third day of the schedule that they (earlier) started. It had the same people and characters. Smriti and she met Amar after such a long time. It was so nice meeting them. Muzammil (Desai) was 16 or 17 , when he was an assistant director in Kyunki. And they used to tell him that Muzzu will direct us soon. And it has come true. Now he i’s the director again.
She further revealed how she and Smriti Irani shot their scene for KSBKBT 2’s premiere episode. She and Smriti met, and then just rehearsed for a while. Did their reading, and then shot the scene. In an hour, they were done with the scene. It was nice and they both turned teary eyed. It was so natural and normal. They never have to do anything. In one go, just shot one master. That’s it!”
