She recently graced actress Tamannaah Bhatia’s fine jewellery store launch in Mumbai, where the latter was spotted amidst diamonds and gemstones, but the real diamond of the launch turned out to be none other than, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. She leaned into a comfortable silhouette but added an edge with her fine tailoring prowess, which shone bright.
Instead of loading herself with jewels and glitter, she allowed the clean lines to be the statement couture code of the hour. Reimagining the Parisian aesthetics, she wore a Jean Paul Gaultier fringed marinière top, featuring a contemporary twist with the designer’s signature stripe motif on top.
The top cropped up with a sleeveless charm and a graphic horizontal cut-out band detailing, which further gave a peek of her midriff, indicating the look to be rebellious. With fringes flowing down to the hemline, a seamless, balanced Parisian touch was witnessed, which worked perfectly with a pair of sleek black trousers.
