A decade ago veteran actor-filmmaker Anupam Kher consciously opted to move into a rented property to embrace a minimalist lifestyle and more so to prioritise peace and a ‘lighter’
life.
Later in 2015, actress Alia Bhatt
purchased two properties that belonged to Anupam Kher and the
combined value of the properties was approximately ₹8.99 crore, with individual units sold for ₹5.16 crore and ₹3.83 crore.
Although the veteran actor doesn’t own his own Mumbai home, he purchased a large house in Shimla for his mother, fulfilling her lifelong dream.
