Rajeev Khandelwal recalls media outlets threat for paid reviews

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal has expressed a firm “I just don’t care anymore” attitude toward being used for malicious reporting. In a recent interview, he stated that he now ignores such reports because he has lost faith in their authenticity, having earlier dealt with situations where publications attempted to coerce him into paid coverage deals.

As per Khandelwal’s indication that he no longer cares about being written off by the media, stating, he wants to feel that charge every time” rather than feeding into public perception.

He recalled being threatened by media outlets to do paid reviews, a tactic he refused.
He believes his work speaks for itself, and he prefers to rely on his own judgment rather than external, potentially paid-for opinions.

He recognizes that media and publicists often create “fake noise” (artificial buzz) to stay relevant, but he refuses to participate in this, stating he only enjoys success when he knows it is truly earned.

His recent comments come alongside his role in Showtime, which explores the dark side of the entertainment industry, including the misuse of media.
