While brief in screen time, her character is considered crucial, acting as a major twist in the story’s climax.
Her role is designed to set up the foundation for Tumbbad 3.
Alia reportedly started shooting her portions on May 3, 2026, in Mumbai and has allotted 20 days for the role. The Adesh Prasad directorial Tumbbad 2
features Sohum Shah and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.The film is slated for theatrical release on December 3, 2027.
The inclusion of Alia Bhatt is seen as a strategic move to elevate the scale of the horror franchise.
