As an avid viewer of the iconic show since her childhood, she was thrilled to land the role of a police officer through a rigorous audition process.
Her reflections and insights into her time on the sets highlight several key aspects of the show and its cast.

Amidst collaborating with the Legends Lekha expressed profound admiration for the veteran actors on set, stating that working alongside them felt more valuable than going to a traditional film school.

She praised the 70-plus-year-old veteran for his commanding yet supportive presence.

She described him as a true “institution of acting,” noting how much she learned just by observing his experience and ease in front of the camera.

Lekha revealed that she shared her very first scene with Daya and was highly appreciative of how warm and kind he was to her. She has even jokingly mentioned glancing at him for help with lines when she would occasionally stumble during shoots.

Stepping onto the sets made popular culture come alive for the actress. Hearing the famous police siren, the iconic title track, and iconic lines like “Daya, darwaza tod do” or “Kuch toh gadbad hai” on a daily basis was a surreal experience for her.
