Dia Mirza will serve as an independent jury member for the Climate Scriptwriting Lab, an eight-month hybrid program spearheaded by Netflix India and Pluc.tv.
The initiative focuses on identifying and supporting emerging writers who are developing short and feature-length fiction films that explore climate change and environmental realities.
Given Dia Mirza’s long-standing track record as a champion for nature, a UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador, and an outspoken advocate for the
environment, she is a natural fit to judge and mentor cinematic projects focused on global sustainability. The lab aims to leverage India’s creative economy to highlight meaningful climate solutions and bring environmental stories to the forefront of modern cinema.
