Revati Sule (daughter of NCP(SP) leader Supriya Sule) and Sarang Lakhani (son of BJP leader and industrialist Arun Lakhani) are set to unite into wedlock on June 20. The Sule family has organized a grand wedding reception in Pune on July 5. The groom’s father, Arun Lakhani, is contesting as a BJP candidate. Amidst media interaction when asked about this intersection of family and state politics, Supriya Sule clarified that political ideologies have nothing to do with family relationships, further asserting that “they do their politics, we do ours.”According to reports, the match was facilitated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Revati is the granddaughter of NCP(SP) supremo Sharad Pawar. Meanwhile, Sarang is a national-level badminton player and an executive director at the Vishwaraj Group.
