FWICE Prez BN Tiwari withdraws non-co-operation directive against Ranveer Singh

Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President
BN Tiwari on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, has officially withdrawn the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh with immediate effect. The resolution follows mediations involving the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA), Producers Guild of India, and CINTAA, and comes after the actor served a legal notice to the organization.
The original directive was issued following Singh’s abrupt exit from Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3” just before the shoot was scheduled to begin, which producers claimed resulted in major financial losses.

In its statement regarding the rollback, FWICE President
BN Tiwari cited to the press members that the decision was taken in ‘good faith’ to foster
an amicable resolution and maintain industry harmony.
He emphasized that disputes should be resolved through constructive dialogue rather than prolonged discord. The film bodies have now called for a joint roundtable to establish better professional guidelines and prevent similar disputes in the future.
