Prime Minister Modi will officially inaugurate the newly constructed Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre (Viveka Smaraka) on Narayana Shastri Road in Mysuru on August 1, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Built by the Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama at an estimated cost of ₹35 crore, this landmark memorial stands on the historic site where Swami Vivekananda stayed during his visit to the city in 1892.
The state-of-the-art facility features a 4-D Experience Centre, a 700-seat amphitheatre, a digital exhibition library, and a peaceful meditation hall designed to inspire the youth. The high-profile event will be attended by prominent dignitaries, including Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, President of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, alongside senior state officials and local leaders.
