Acclaimed music composer and Oscar award winner A.R. Rahman is bringing together a vibrant new generation of entertainers and performers to celebrate the monumental legacy of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle.
As part of the special musical tribute project titled Asha Forever, actress Janhvi Kapoor has joined the initiative. Her participation infuses a fresh, contemporary presence into the musical extravaganza.
As per reports A.R. Rahman expressed his gratitude on social media, stating: “A new generation coming together to celebrate a voice that has belonged to every generation. The project merges archival recordings and modern technology to fulfill Rahman’s original dream of a grand celebration for the icon.
Alongside Janhvi Kapoor, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and singer’s granddaughter Zanai Bhosle support the emotional project.
The track also features students and musicians from London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
