Dharavi Police Organises “Run For Unity” event in Dharavi on Rashtriya Ekta Divas

Rashtriya Ekta Divas is celebrated to commemorate the 147th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the Iron man on 31st October.

Rashtriya Ekta Divas is organised to reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, dignity and security of our Nation.

While “Run For Unity” is organised across the country in the backdrop of ‘Rashtriya Ekta Divas’, Dharavi Police Station too organised “Run For Unity” event.

Dharavi is initself a Mini India. People of various community from different states such as North India, South India and West Bengal and all celebrate their festival in different style. The theme set by the Dharavi Police ‘Run for Unity ” was perfect. Even Late Sardar Patel did the same and brought all different States of our country under one roof. That’s our Nation India and through this event the very purpose of the Dharavi Police was to generate communal harmony among the people.
