Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani gear up to wed on February 7 at the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
Ahead of the star-studded wedding, many celebs have already at Jaisalmer.
Among those who have made it to Jaisalmer are Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor, both happen to be extremely close to Kiara. Even as KJo believes the actor is her lucky mascot, Shahid was her co-star in the blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’.
A source reveals that the sangeet ceremony is being held tonight 6 February a day before the couple tie the knot on 7 in
Suryagarh Palace. The event is likely to see some of the most fun performances by the bride and groom’s families as well as their friends.
Amid fans waiting with bated breath to get one glimpse of the soon-to-be-married couple from inside the venue, an old video has been doing the rounds on the internet, in which Shahid and KJo are seen promising Kiara that they would dance to ‘Dola Re Dola’ if and when she marries Sidharth.
It happened on ‘Koffee with Karan 7’, when Kiara spilt the beans on her relationship and wedding with Sidharth, Shahid and Karan announced that they will show their best moves on the iconic track at the couple’s wedding.
It will be of great interest to see if the duo actually live up to their promise and put on a show for the bride and groom.
Though Sidharth and Kiara were tightlipped on their wedding, the two were seen arriving at the Jaisalmer airport, albeit separately, on Saturday morning.
The couple’s families have also reached the palace and reportedly, their pre-wedding festivities kicked off on Sunday night with the mehendi ceremony and a fun dinner.
The newly wed pair will host a grand reception in Mumbai for the Bollywood folks on 12 February.
Among those making it to the wedding are besides Karan, Shahid, are Mira Rajput, Manish Malhotra, the Ambanis, Armaan Jain, and others. Isha Ambani and Kiara’s childhood BFF with husband Anand Piramal and
Salman Khan, who is a close friend of Kiara’s father Jagdeep Advani.
