Following the election on 3 February and the subsequent declaration of the results, it comes to the fore that in the rat race for portfolio, Vishal Singh once again emerged victorious with 66 votes, whereas his opponent Dnyanesh Chavan got only 38 votes.

Sharing his grand victory with Aleem Sheikh Editor-In-Chief Hello Mumbai News, phonetically, he expressed his
gratitude and conveyed his thanks to all his colleagues and Senior Journalists for their whole-hearted support to cast their votes in his favour while reposing trust in him and giving him a second chance to be of service to the Association. Amid his conversation, Vishal also expressed his commitment to fulfil his promises.

Adding further Vishal made it known that the Association will bring out some changes and also implement it. Training will be given to the new reporters on crime reporting specially Cyber Crime related stories besides on how to communicate and deal with police officials while interviewing them.

Vishal also pointed out that they will have interactive session meet with Commissioner of Police or other IPS officers every month and attempt for a good rapport between Mumbai Police and Crime Reporter.

The Association’s Mission and Vision is aptly clear to support journalists and solve their problems.
