PM Modi on Thursday landed in Thailand for a two-day visit to attend the sixth BIMSTEC Summit. He was accorded a warm welcome by the Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Transport Suriya Jungrungreangkit.
After concluding Thailand visit, PM Modi will travel to Sri Lanka for his first visit to the island country since the election of Anura Kumara Disanayake as its new President

PM highlighted that India’s North Eastern region lies at the heart of BIMSTEC due to its geographical location.
