Following the passing away of Tollywood’s veteran producer
RB Choudhary in a car accident legendary actor Rajinikanth shared an emotional, heartfelt tribute.
Amidst his tribute Rajinikanth revealed that Choudary had recently asked him to act in his 100th film, planned to be his final production before retirement.
About four months ago, while Rajinikanth was filming for Jailer 2 at Aditya Ram Studios, RB Choudhary met him to discuss this collaboration. Having completed 99 films, Choudhary aimed to retire after his 100th film, for which he specifically requested Rajinikanth’s participation.
As a commitment Rajinikanth stated, “he told him that he would do it 100 per cent,” ensuring to work on the project. Rajinikanth revealed that Choudhary had “two or three story scripts ready” for the film. Regardless never working together formally, Rajinikanth described Choudhary as a “very close friend” and a “wonderful human being”. He praised the late producer for mentoring new directors and creating job opportunities for many technicians.
An emotional Rajinikanth mentioned the untimely death was “heartbreaking” and a major loss for the Tamil film industry.The veteran producer, known for his work under the Super Good Films banner, was 76 when he passed away.
