During the 71st National Film Awards, when Rani Mukerji was going to receive the Best Actress award, the pallu of her long saree was dragging on the floor. Shah Rukh Khan, who had come to receive the Best Actor award for ‘Jawan’, immediately bent down and picked up the pallu of Rani’s saree and held it properly so that she could walk comfortably on the stage.

Shah Rukh Khan held the pallu of Rani Mukerji’s brown silk sari as she walked on stage to announce her award. He ensured that her sari didn’t drag on the floor until she reached the microphone. Rani smiled and said “thank you,”.

At the 25th screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai When they stepped out for the special 25th anniversary screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shah Rukh was seen holding the pallu of Rani’s saree as she climbed the stairs. According to SRK Universe , the scene was like something out of a romantic film.
