Notedly, initial reports claimed that Akshay Kumar was demanding a massive Rs 35 to 40 crore for a brief
18 to 22-day shoot schedule in the upcoming comedy. These same reports suggested his upfront fee was higher than lead actor Ajay Devgn’s, as Ajay opted for a profit-sharing model instead.
Following the widespread rumors, Rohit Shetty’s production house stepped in to clarify.
