Reportedly, Excel Entertainment filed a complaint alleging that Ranveer’s sudden exit just weeks before filming led to ₹45 crore in pre-production losses. According to FWICE’s claim, they sent three formal notices to the actor to discuss the matter and hear his side, but he never deemed it necessary to respond to the in-person requests. Instead, his team questioned the federation’s jurisdiction in the dispute.
In the interim, the FWICE issued a formal non-cooperation directive, instructing industry personnel to suspend all professional engagements with the actor until the dispute is resolved.
Rather than addressing the allegations head-on, Ranveer’s team released a formal statement emphasizing that the actor is choosing to focus firmly on his upcoming work commitments.
