Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump are scheduled to hold bilateral talks on June 17, 2026, on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in France.
The meeting will occur at 6:15 PM IST. This will serve as their first face-to-face interaction since their diplomatic meeting in Washington, D.C. in February 2025.
Leaders will review the intensive framework negotiations aimed at finalizing a comprehensive trade pact and addressing tariff barriers.
Taking cues from the strategic cooperation framework signed in late May, both leaders will discuss strategies to build resilient supply chains and reduce collective vulnerabilities to single-source monopolies in advanced manufacturing.
A press conference by the US President is slated to take place immediately after the bilateral talks conclude.
