Throwback: Asha Parekh reveals Rajesh Khanna’s inferiority complex

Recently Veteran actor Asha Parekh recalled her memories working with Rajesh Khanna that he suffered from an inferiority complex while on shoot for ‘Baharon Ke Sapne’ in 1967.

At that time around it was Khanna’s second film whereas Asha Parekh was already an established name with hit films ‘Dil Deke Dekho’, ‘Teesri Manzil’, ‘Love In Tokyo’ ‘Do Badan’ and others.

Asha went on to add that he was an introvert and would not talk much on sets.He would sit in a corner.

Probably because it was just his second film.Since then, Asha assumed he was basically an introvert, he had an inferiority complex.

No sooner, he emerged as a Super Star, everything changed in him. Asha further made it known that it was Nanda who was supposed to do the film, but refused because it was a non-glamorous role.

Infact, she has shared screen space with him in films like Kati Patang, Aan Milo Sajna etc.
