Security Agencies receive email on threat to kill.PM Modi and blow up Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad
It’s not for the first time as earlier also there were threat calls to elimimate PM Modi.
Now it comes as a shocking news that a central security agency has received an email threatening to assassinate
PM Modi and blow up the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, and demanding
Rs 500 crore as well as the release of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Immediately the National Investigation Agency (NIA) alerted the Mumbai police over the threat email and shared its content with various agencies concerned with the PM’s security, besides the Gujarat Police.
A Police source informs that Mumbai Police have since stepped up security as the city is set to host five World Cup cricket matches at Wankhede stadium. They are also trying to determine the origin of the email.
On Thursday morning, the city police control room received an alert from the NIA stating that a threat email was received.
The inaugural match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the world’s largest cricket stadium, between England and New Zealand on Thursday.
