Preneet Kaur suspended Congress MP favours Mahua Moitra’s expulsion over ‘cash-for-question’ allegations
Two politicians are headling for all the wrong reasons. After Mahua Moitra, now it is Congress MP Preneet Kaur suspended for indulging in anti-party activities and votes in favour of Mahua for her expulsion over ‘cash-for-question’ allegations
Preneet Kaur, Lok Sabha MP, is the wife of former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh.
On Thursday, the 15-member panel, headed by Vinod Sonkar, adopted the 500-page report on Mahua Moitra. Six members voted in favour of the report which sought Mahua Moitra’s expulsion, and 4 members voted against it. Preneet Kaur was one of those who voted in favour of the report.
Kaur added that she voted for her expulsion despite being
a suspended member of the Congress.
Preneet Kaur was helping the BJP in the state and that led to her suspension.
Last year, her husband Amarinder Singh and daughter Jai Inder Kaur joined the BJP last year.
