Anurag Kashyap features in Aashiq Abu’s ‘Rifle Club’
News comes to the fore that Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap ill geara up set to make his Malayalam film debut as an actor in Aashiq Abu’s directorial upcoming movie “Rifle Club”.
Kashyap, a supporter of contemporary Malayalam cinema, shared the update on his Instagram page on Saturday.
He wrote- announcing his first Malayalam film as an actor
Look forward to be part of the great moment of Malayalam cinema – OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment.
He captioned the motion poster, produced by Aashiq Abu and Co-produced by Vincent Vadakkan and Vishal Vincent Tony.
Reportedly, Anuraag has earlier produced Malayalam films “Moothon” and “Paka (River of Blood)”. As an actor, his film credits include “Akira”, “Imaikkaa Nodigal”, and “AK vs AK”.
The film also features Dileesh Pothan, Vani Viswanath, Vijayaraghavan, Vincy Aloshious, Ramzan Muhammed, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Unnimaya Prasad.
“Rifle Club” is slated for theatrical release on the auspicious Onam festival 2024.
