Ranbir Kapoor is as of now on shoot for Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial “Ramayana” one of the much-anticipated films of Ranbir. For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Ram in whereas Sai Pallavi essays the role of Sita. Recently, photos of the two actors from the sets of the film leaked online in which they were seen in their Ram and Sita avatars respectively.

Reportedly, KGF star Yash has been roped in to play Ravana in the movie. The film will also star Arun Govil and Lara Dutta as Dashrath and Kaikeyi respectively. Reportedly, the makers have also roped in Sunny Deol for the role of Hanuman. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.

Even as the release date for the film awaits announcement trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently claimed that the makers are planning to release the Ranbir Kapoor starrer in 2027. This means that fans will have to wait for almost three years before they can see Ranbir as Lord Ram on screen.
