Kapoor clan gather to celebrate Anil Kapoor’s mother Nirmal Kapoor’s 90th birthday
The entire Kapoor ‘khandaan’ on 27 September, assembled at the residence of Nirmal Kapoor to celebrate her birthday. Key attendees included Sonam, Khushi and Rhea Kapoor.
Sonam Kapoor with hubby Anand Ahuja were some of the earliest people to be photographed outside Nirmal Kapoor’s place. The actress stood out in an off-white Anarkali as she stepped out of her luxury car with gifts in hand for her grandmother. As a stylist on her own, Sonam did not take much time before joining the rest of the family to celebrate the special occasion. Anand Ahuja was also seen with his wife, which added more
euphoria to the air.
Khushi Kapoor Nirmal Kapoor’s grand-daughter, too,was spotted on her arrival to celebrate the occssion.For that look, she donned something more relaxed but refined. Khushi wore a black crop top paired with matching black bottoms. She looked as fresh as the morning dew and at the same time youthful and effortless. Khushi spent some time with her close family members but eventually left the party. With her there was also her sister Anshula Kapoor, who was said to be very close to her cousins. Anshula shared a lovely inside picture from the event with Nirmal Kapoor, capturing the essence of the love and admiration a family has for their grandmother.
Among the key members of the Kapoor family who attended the celebration was missing the dashing Anil Kapoor. A veteran actor, who is often very close to his family, could not attend the birthday of his mom, but the love of the rest of the Kapoor clan and that also included his elder brother, Boney Kapoor, filled his space.
The eldest Kapoor brother, Boney Kapoor, turned up for the party in his usual style. He wore a basic classic black kurta-pajama set with matching shoes. The actor producer frequently visits family gatherings.
Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep Kapoor, was also present at the party. Shanaya was clad in a rather cool-white cropped top teamed with blue denim and was spotted drinking water while enjoying herself at the family get-together. She appeared to be comfortable and happy in the company of her relatives. Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor accompanied their son too.
Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s sibling Harshwardhan Kapoor, had his own individual flavour to put within the family affair. Known for his different style of dressing, Harshwardhan wore a white tee and multi-coloured denims with a cap-bringing a dash of modern shear to the traditional gathering at the family affair. His casual style yet fashionable look made him standout from the rest of the relatives.
