With rumours doing the rounds that Kareena Kapoor Khan has rejected Prabhas starrer “Spirit”, the actress has blatantly denies such rumours and puts them to rest. The actress, acknowledged for her discerning choices and impactful roles, has recorded that she has not been approached by the “Spirit” team.

This comes after similar speculation on Kareena’s collaboration with Yash in the gangster drama “Toxic,” which also ultimately never saw the light of day.

While Kareena is open to exploring opportunities in South Indian cinema, she is much choosy on roles that carry weight and depth. Adding that she would love to do a South Indian film, but it has to be a significant role. No one from the ‘Spirit’ team has reached out to her.

“Spirit” the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has garnered imense anticipation, with rumors of Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan portraying antagonists adding to the excitement.

However, Kareena’s statement has put these speculations to rest, for now.

While the actress is actively exploring options in the South Indian film industry, she’s not rushing into any projects. Her decision to decline both “Toxic” and “Spirit,” despite the buzz surrounding them, indicates her commitment to quality and her dedication to finding the perfect opportunity that aligns with her artistic vision.

As more and more North Indian actresses are venturing into South Indian cinema, Kareena’s cautious approach reflects her strategic planning and her commitment to making a lasting impact. Only time will tell if she will eventually join the “Spirit” team, but for now, the “no” is clear.
