Rameshwari was a very successful actress.She has worked with big names in the industry such as Jeetendra,
Naseeruddin Shah, Mithun Chakraborty,
Notedly, her pairing with Jeetendra was widely loved and she has delivered a series of hits. Filmmakers were desperate to cast her in their films.But, sadly, her life took a tragic turn when she suffered a terrible eye injury,after she fell from a horse which eventually lead her to step away from the film industry and soon she bid adieu to acting. She found success as a businesswoman.
She was an extremely popular actress of the 80s.She got a big break in 1977 with Rajshri’s Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye. The film was a massive hit and made her a household name. Some of her other notable films include Sunayana with Naseeruddin Shah, Mera Rakshak with Mithun Chakraborty, and Sharda and Aasha with Jeetendra.
However, at the peak of her success, Rameswari’s life took a tragic turn when she fell from a horse, resulting in a severe injury to one of her eyes. After
the accident, doctors sent her to New York for surgery. Amidst her recovery, she lost out on many films and eventually stepped away from the industry.
After experiencing many highs and lows in her career, Rameswari married prominent Punjabi actor-producer Deepak Seth but chose to never work in Punjabi cinema. Reports reveal she was also offered a role in Punjab film but declined it.
After bidding adieu to Bollywood l, Rameswari now runs a successful skincare business named Nimli Naturals. Her company specializes in natural skincare and aromatherapy products.
