Many may not be versed that Legendary film producer Yash Johar reeled through tough times amidst the initial days of Dharma Productions. It was when Amitabh Bachchan stepped forward to help Yash Johar and Karan Johar in saving the production house.
Yash Johar floated Dharma Productions Pvt. Ltd in 1979, and has given several blockbusters under the banner. In 2004, the production house was taken over by Yash Johar’s son Karan Johar after his death, and it is now thriving.
However, the initial journey of Dharma Productions was not smooth.
