Rohtak Haryana Born born Parul Gulati matured in a middle-class Punjabi family. Her entry into acting arena was serendipitous. At 17
she posted her selfie on Facebook which caught the attention of a casting agent, leading to her first television role with Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam, but her breakthrough came with the Punjabi film Burraahh. She later appeared in the Telugu film Nee Jathaleka highlighting her versatility across regional cinema.
The actress won recognition through digital platforms, featuring in popular web series like Girls Hostel, where she played Zahira Ali, a bold and ambitious student, Made in Heaven, a supporting role that added depth to the show’s ensemble, Haq Se and Selection Day, further cementing her reputation in the OTT space.
It was in 2025, she joined the cast of
Bejoy Nambiar’s upcoming romantic thriller Tu Yaa Main, she teamed up with Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav. She described the experience as a dream collaboration, lauding Nambiar’s emotionally rich storytelling.
Although acting brought her fame, Parul’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch Nish Hair, a brand specializing in premium hair extensions and accessories. Inspired by her own struggles with hair styling and confidence, she created a solution that resonated with thousands of women.
