“Delhi Crime” actress Shefali Shah recently recounted over her first marriage to actor Harsh Chhaya and the ordeal to part. She also shared that she realised remaining in the relationship could have been intensely harmful to her well-being.
She further revealed that the realisation came when the situation felt close to collapsing entirely.

Recounting that phase of her life, Shefali said, “Nobody told her that she is enough and doesn’t need a husband, a friend, a brother, a sister to be complete.
Later, in 2000, she tied the knot to already married producer Vipul Shah in a low-key ceremony.The couple shares two sons.
Reflecting on the risk she took amidst her first marriage and the personal stability she put on the line, Shefali said, “For her, this realisation came after her first marriage. A close friend once asked her, ‘What if she never find love again? Would she take that risk or stay?’
