When Daisy Shah once turned down Salman Khan’s offer
Actress Daisy Shah once declined Salman Khan’s offer of a supporting role in his 2011 released film Bodyguard because she wasn’t convinced with the part and wanted to debut as a lead actress.
She was offered to play Kareena Kapoor’s best friend (the role eventually played by Hazel Keech).
Daisy didn’t feel the character justified her acting aspirations or highlighted her talents, stating she never wanted to do it “half-heartedly”.
Later she made her debut as the lead heroine opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho released in 2014.
