Zanai Bhosle,late Legendary singer Asha Bhosle’s granddaughter, is all set to make her acting debut opposite Rishab Shetty in a major historical epic.
The film is Pride of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in which
Zanai Bhosle will play Rani Sai Bhonsale (Rani Sai Bai), the first wife of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj co-featuring Rishab Shetty (known for Kantara), who plays the lead role in the film. The Sandeep Singh directorial is slated for a theatrical release on January 21, 2027.
A multilingual pan-India film will be released besides Hindi, in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, and Bengali.
About Zanai Bhosle:
2002, born Zanai is a singer, songwriter, and trained Kathak dancer.
She is the daughter of Anand Bhosle and Anuja Bhosle.
She has already explored her musical career with tracks like “Main Heer Teri” and “Kehndi Hai”.
She is known to be very close to her grandmother, the late Asha Bhosle, and has been involved in musical collaborations with her.
The film is highly anticipated and is expected to be a major launch for
Zanai Bhosle into the film industry.
