Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has completely debunked rumours that his son, actor Hrithik Roshan, demanded a staggering ₹500 crore budget for his upcoming superhero sequel, Krrish 4.
In a recent interview, the veteran director addressed the viral speculation head-on.
Reports alleged a major rift between Hrithik Roshan and producer Aditya Chopra, claiming YRF wanted to cap the project at ₹350 crore while Hrithik insisted on ₹500 crore for high-end visual effects.
Rakesh Roshan labeled these claims as “complete nonsense” and confirmed that the project has not hit any financial roadblocks. He emphasized that there is absolute harmony and teamwork between himself, Hrithik, and Aditya Chopra.
The filmmaker explained that a massive superhero film requires careful planning and significant time to develop. The timeline is currently driven by Hrithik’s busy date diary and other ongoing professional commitments rather than a budget clash.
