Sameer Wankhede- Zonal Director Mumbai informed that in the Shah Rukh Son matter, Manish Bhanushali & Kiran Gosavi not known before 2/10/21. Nigerian arrested leads to 20 arrests in this matter
Based on the preliminary interrogation of the accused, NCB Mumbai launched follow-up operations in NCB Mumbai Crime No. 94/2021 in the night of 09.10.2021.
A team of NCB Mumbai mounted surveillance in front of Westin Gate, Oberoi garden city, International Business Park, Yashodham, Goregaon, Mumbai and intercepted 01 Nigerian national namely Okaro Ouzama along with intermediate quantity of Cocaine on 09.10.2021.
This is 20th arrest of the Crime No. 94/2021 and 2nd arrest of Foreign National. NCB Mumbai is making effort to explore the foreign linkages of the case on basis of interrogation of the all accused persons. Further investigation is under process.
It is further clarified that para 4 of Press release dated 9-10-2021 may be read as ”A total of 09 independent witnesses were involved in the whole operation and Manish Bhanushali and K.P Gosavi were among them. Neither of these two Independent witnesses i.e. Manish Bhanushali and K.P Gosavi, were known to NCB before 02/10/2021 operation
