Sameer Wankhede: Manhunt for Nigerian, accomplice Local nabbed with 505 gm of MD-Mephedrone
1. Seizure of total 505 Gms of Mephedrone@ MD@ Meow Meow
2. The contraband was delivered by one Nigerian National to one Indian national for supplying in Mumbai.
Operation and team:-
Operation- 1- On the basis of information received from a reliable source on 15.10.2021, a team of NCB Mumbai has effected a seizure of 205 Gms of Mephedrone at National Highway, Chinchoti Phata, Vasai (E), Palghar under panchanama dated 15.10.2021.
Operation- 2- In a follow up action of the same operation, a team of officers of NCB Mumbai has effected a seizure of 300 Gms of Mephedrone at Nalasopara (E), Palghar under Panchama dated 16.10.2021.
Modus Operandi:-
The contraband seized was found in physical possession of one Indian National namely Md Ajaz Yakub Shaikh, a resident of 12 Imam Road, J J Road, Mumbai, who purchased the seized 505 grams of Mephedrone from a Nigerian National and was going to supply to his customer in Mumbai.
Details of recoveries and arrested persons:-
One Indian National namely Md Ajaz Yakub Shaikh, a resident of 12 Imam Road, J J Road, Mumbai has been arrested in this connection. Further investigation is underway to nab the supplier of the seized drugs and other links of the drug smugglers in Mumbai also.
