Shraddha ghastly murder rocks Nation Police arrest Accused Aftab Amin.Poonawala
The news of a gruesome murder of a woman identified as Shraddha chopped into 35 pieces by her live in partner Aaftab Amin Poonawala comes like fresh shivers down the spine.
Shockingly dismembering her body into 35 pieces he stored them in a fridge. On his late night outing he used to dispose of the pieces at various locations around Delhi.
This ghastly murder incident has rocked the Nation.
It was five months after he committed the beastly that he has been arrested.
Following his arrest and amid questioning, Aftab revealed that Shraddha had been pressuring him to get married. They would frequently quarrel about it.
The victim’s father, Vikas Madan, had lodged an FIR for the kidnapping of his daughter at the Mehrauli police station in Delhi on November 8. In his complaint, Vikas stated that he lives with his family in Maharashtra’s Palghar.
His daughter Shraddha worked at a call centre in Mumbai, where she met Aftab Poonawalla.
Reportedly accused Aaftab kept changing statements during i interrogation.
As per Shraddha’s father his daughter and Aftab eventually got into a relationship and moved to Delhi from Mumbai notwithstanding opposition from Shraddha’s family.
News reveal that the couple rented a flat in the city’s Chhatarpur area.
Upon investigation, it came to light that Shraddha was murdered five months ago. Police nabbed Poonawalla from the flat in Chhatarpur and took him in for questioning.
After interrogating him, police launched a search for the victim’s body parts in a forested area in the city. A few bones were recovered from the scene. Further investigation is underway.
The couple had eloped from Mumbai to New Delhi after the woman’s family disapproved of the relationship.
