Amitabh Bachchan helped actor Vikram Gokhale to get house in Mumbai

Many may not be versed that Amitabh Bachchan had helped Vikram Gokhale to get a house in Mumbaiwhen he faced financial crunch.

This was when Vikram Gokhale moved to Mumbai from Pune in the early 70s. Infact, the two had known each other for over 55 years.

Amitabh Bachchan had dashed off a letter to the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra

Manohar Joshi during 1995-99. And he got a house from the government only because of Bachchan’s recommendation and he had that letter with him and which he has framed.

Notably, Vikram Gokhale and Amitabh Bachchan have been colleagues and good friends and known each other for over half a century. In fact, Vikram’s debut Hindi film, Parwana, featured Amitabh Bachchan.
