Hindi Cinema Legend Amitabh Bachchan honoured with Joy Award in Saudi Arabia
Bollywood’s Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with Joy Award in Saudi Arabia in recognition of his lifetime contribution to the Indian Film Industry.
It is reportedly learnt that about 20 people who excelled in various fields were honored at the glittering event in the Desert Island.
The Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority took the pleasure to felicitate the Hindi Cinema Legend at the Third Edition of the Award Ceremony.
The event was held in collaboration with MBC Group at Bakar Al Sheddi Theater in Riyadh Bollywood City.
Around 200 artists drawn from cinema, music, theater and social fields were competing for the Joy Award. Around this time, Twenty people engaged in various fields were selected
Reportedly, Entries were invited for the competition last year. The award night saw the attendance by the Chairman of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, Turki Alushikh. The ceremony was notable for the presence of renowned talents in various fields and a large crowd, besides from famous film directors, actors, singers and other arts and sports stars from the Arab world and internationally.
Speaking after being honoured, Amitabh Bachchan quoted that it was a joyous moment for him to receive such an award on a prestigious platform and expressed his gratitude for having been found worthy to be honoured with the prestigious award by the Saudi Entertainment Authority.
