Mumbai Police arrest accused over theft of Jewellery from a Malad Jain Temple

Crime never ends in Mumbai. Despite arrests, the offence continues with no fear to the long arm of law. Leave alone murders and robbery at shops etc., even place of worship is not spared.
Over and above crimes are also committed after watch crime related TV shows.

In a recent shocker, a man in the guise as a Jain priest stole 160 gm worth of gold plates from a Jain temple.’ Reportedly, he committed the offence after being inspired by the TV Show “Crime Patrol”.

The Malad Police wasted no time in nabbing him after they received the complaint from the Jain Temple.The arrest was made after the cops went through over 100 CCTV tapes.

He was nabbed from Malad West after the cops went through over 100 CCTV tapes.

As per police reports, jewellery has since been recovered.
Investigation into the theft is in progress.
